Vancouver South (French: Vancouver-Sud) is a federal electoral district in British Columbia, Canada, that has been represented in the House of Commons of Canada from 1917 to 1997, and since 2004. It covers the southern portion of the city of Vancouver, British Columbia.
The riding has one of the largest immigrant populations in the province, with immigrants and children of immigrants accounting for about 75 per cent of the 118,905 residents. About one-third of the residents are from China or are the children or grandchildren of parents born in China, according to the 2006 census. About 15 per cent are from Pakistan or India. The city's colourful Punjabi market and the close-knit community of religious Sikhs dominate the area.[2] The service sector, retail trade and manufacturing are the major sources of employment in Vancouver South. Nearly 30% of residents over the age of 25 years have obtained a university certificate or degree. The average family income is over $71,000. Unemployment is around 6.3%

Cypress Mountain is a ski area in West Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, located in the southern section of Cypress Provincial Park, operated under a BC Parks Park Use Permit. The ski resort is a 30-minute drive north of downtown Vancouver, and has 53 named alpine ski runs and 19 km of cross country trails.
Kitsilano Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Vancouver, especially in the warm summer months. Located at the north edge of the Kitsilano neighbourhood, the beach faces out onto English Bay.
The Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge is a pedestrian bridge located within Lynn Canyon Park, in the District of North Vancouver, British Columbia. It is 50 metres high from the bottom of the canyon. The bridge was built as a private venture in 1912.
