It's hard to summarize one's life in a couple of sentences, but here it goes...

I grew up in a family that loved the performing arts. We studied dance, took music lessons, and went to the theatre regularly. I always enjoyed the "magic" of any show we attended. I focused on different art forms throughout my adolescences and turned to education in college. I received my BA and MS in Education from SUNY Potsdam in 2006 and 2008 respectively. I felt something missing in my life and I began to dance again.

On a whim, I auditioned for a local musical. After attending a few rehearsals, I became the choreographer and the stage manager for the production, in addition to performing a 5 minute tap dance duet in the middle of the show!

Needless to say, a spark was ignited within myself and I needed to continue on this path. I began teaching dance lessons at a local studio and I worked on as many musicals as I could. In a period of 3 years, I choreographed 7 musicals, directed 2 more, and gathered costumes for 3 productions.

I truly love working in this field and I can't wait for my next opportunity.
