After completing a diploma in Fine Art, Heather moved on to study and work in film. She practices as a Director Of Photography, having filmed shorts, documentaries and features. As well as vast experience with technical camera equipment, Heather has also been recognised by both national and international film festivals, most recently EAT OUR SHORTS, with the selected film being shown at the South Bank Theatre.

Heather came on board the short film 'Vacant' as Director of Photography, but ended up doing a lot more than that. Heather helped with bringing in other crew members, utilising her networking skills and demonstrating strong organisation skills. Heather showed an incredible work ethic during both pre-production and production, communicating effectively throughout and demonstrating excellent team working skills. Heather was a committed member of the crew, giving strong ideas and taking direction very well. Heather was a joy to work with and made the filmmaking process less stressful, with a positive attitude and friendly demeanour. Heather's vision for the film matched my own, with the cinematography in the finished production being one of the highlights. I would happily work with Heather again on other projects and feel that she will go far in her career.
