My programs provide engaging, hands-on enrichment experiences that combine creativity with learning. Through guided art projects, storytelling, discussion, and collaborative activities, students explore themes connected to history, literature, communication, and world cultures. These experiences encourage curiosity and allow students to engage with educational topics in a creative and approachable way.
Whether we are learning about classical artists and creating our own art in their style or creating our own paper from start to finish on site, students are introduced to a variety of artistic techniques and creative modalities.
Classes may include acrylic painting, watercolor painting, mixed media art, crafting with wood, wood burning, leather working, and other hands-on creative projects. Each project is designed to help students explore different materials, experiment with artistic techniques, and develop confidence in their creative abilities.
Each class emphasizes creative thinking, problem-solving, and self-expression. Students are encouraged to ask questions, share ideas, and experiment with artistic techniques while exploring meaningful topics. By connecting art with storytelling and cultural exploration, students gain a broader perspective while developing confidence in their own creative voice.
Programs are offered in small group settings to create a supportive learning environment where students can comfortably explore new ideas and skills. Classes and workshops may be offered as homeschool enrichment programs, after-school classes, summer workshops, in-school enrichment programs, library workshops, and private small-group sessions. These flexible formats allow families to choose the learning environment that works best for their students.
In addition to private classes and small group programs, I occasionally host creative workshops in partnership with local libraries and community organizations. These workshops provide accessible opportunities for students and families to experience hands-on creative learning in a welcoming community setting.
My goal is to create a space where students can explore ideas, develop practical creative skills, and build confidence through artistic expression and thoughtful conversation.
