When I go out I like to take photos to remember the day, they are mostly all taken on my phone and to me I don't mind how the photos turn out as long as its clear enough and then I can combine them to create a 'journey' of my day. I think taking photos are a good way to document your life, photos can be shared wherever social media, scrapbooks, blogs, books, etc.
