For 15 years, I worked as a dental hygienist here in Georgia. I loved serving patients, and at first the flexibility felt perfect.

But over time, I became burned out. My back and neck were hurting constantly. And once my husband and I started a family, I realized I didn't have the work–life balance I thought I would. 

Some mornings I wouldn’t even see my son. By the time I got home it was dinner, bath, bed - repeat.
