"Heater" is an instrumental song by Swiss electronic music producer Samim. The instrumental contains a sample of the Colombian cumbia "La Cumbia Cienaguera", popular in the 1950s, in a version by Colombian accordionist Alberto Pacheco.[2]

In 2008, the song was sampled in Shaggy's title song for the UEFA Championship 2008 called "Feel the Rush". In 2016, Italian producer Alex Guesta used the sample from "Heater" on his track "Cumbia Cienaguera", released on Spinnin' Records. In 2019, British producer D.O.D released "According To Me" on Axtone Records using the same sample as "Heater".[23]

Thermal therapy is one of the most popular physiotherapies and it is particularly useful for treating joint injuries. Conventional devices adapted for thermal therapy including heat packs and wraps have often caused discomfort to their wearers because of their rigidity and heavy weight. In our study, we developed a soft, thin, and stretchable heater by using a nanocomposite of silver nanowires and a thermoplastic elastomer. A ligand exchange reaction enabled the formation of a highly conductive and homogeneous nanocomposite. By patterning the nanocomposite with serpentine-mesh structures, conformal lamination of devices on curvilinear joints and effective heat transfer even during motion were achieved. The combination of homogeneous conductive elastomer, stretchable design, and a custom-designed electronic band created a novel wearable system for long-term, continuous articular thermotherapy.

In this article, for the first time we introduced the phasor ESC to real-time optimization of integrated subcooling transcritical heat pump water heater as improvement of dither-demodulation ESC. We established a dynamic model with high-fidelity of the heat pump system in Dymola. Starting from the single phasor ESC for discharge pressure, we proposed the practical guideline of parameter tuning and the most important is that an optimal dither frequency exists in terms of the final stable performance. The effectiveness and repeatability of multi-variable phasor ESC was demonstrated under both the static and the stair-change ambient temperature. In the final case of varying ambient temperature, the multi-phasor ESC always performs better than the constant-strategy and shows the superior following characteristics compared to the classic ESC. Under ambient temperature of three-times varying speed, the averaging COP of phasor ESC is 0.19% higher than that of the classic ESC.

After being criticized by the church for writing socially conscious songs, Denise and Howard break up. Denise ends up in California, where she finally gets a chance to make her own record with production guru Jay Phillips (Matt Dillon plays the Brian Wilson character, complete with weird behavior, a dissatisfied surf band and a wacky shrink).

When Edna records a big, overproduced number with Jay, "God Give Me Strength," it fails just as badly as "River Deep, Mountain High" did for Phil Spector and Tina Turner. Still, the moment produces a riveting scene in which Douglas seems intensely vulnerable. And the song, written by Burt Bacharach and Elvis Costello, highlights a terrific songwriting partnership.
