What is a hypnosis session like?
First, we will discuss the issue you want to work on. Together, we will create the "suggestions" you want used during hypnosis. "Suggestions" are simply the words used to affect the desired result that was discussed. You will then be guided into a progressive physical relaxation and then a visual relaxation of a beautiful nature scene. When you are very relaxed, the hypnotist will then offer the suggestions that you have discussed together. The suggestions will be repeated a few times. Even though you are very relaxed, you will be wide awake and in complete control. After the suggestions are made, you will be guided out of hypnosis and the session is complete.
How does it work? Hypnosis helps you to deeply relax and it prepares your subconscious mind to receive and accept positive suggestions that lead to lasting improvements. Hypnosis opens the door to heightened focus and concentration, leading to awareness, understanding and positive change.
