What are UA pairs?
UA pairs or Unauthorized Authentic pairs. They are pairs that are produced with the same material, accuracy, and quality as much as possible from the same factories (Nike, Adidas, etc.). Hence, Replicas.
What are the tiers and batches of UA pairs?
Each model of pairs/shoes (ex. Travis Scotts, Dunks, etc.) are produce by different manufacturers. They are also referred as Batches because they produce shoes in bulk.
Tiers are given for each batch / manufacturer of shoe that depend on the quality and accuracy of their work. High, mid, low tiers are what they are called.
1. HIGH TIERS are typically the closest to the retail release in terms of aesthetics and quality, and also the most expensive.
2. MID TIERS are also high quality pairs that are produced with slightly cheaper materials to cater other people’s budget.
3. LOW TIERS are the budget replicas that are produced with cheaper materials. This tier also does the job but not the same quality with the two tiers.
Are they the same as OEM and Class A?
Though they are all classified as replicas, UA is different from Class A and OEM. UA aims to produce the shoe with the highest quality and accuracy possible with same materials as retail releases. Class A and OEM pairs use cheap materials and does not aim to replicate the shoes with same quality and accuracy as much as possible with UA. These pairs are often seen in public markets, online stores going on sale 3 for P999 or any price.
