This is the sixth year of Heartland Math Conferences, with the Fall 2026 conference marking our 9th instance of these meetings! HMC provides an opportunity for graduate students, as well as advanced undergraduates, to present and discuss work in a welcoming environment with a focus on professional development and relationship building.

Since the purpose of HMC is to create the opportunity for students and postdocs to gain experience presenting and discussing mathematical work, the focus of the conference agenda is contributed talks. Talks from all stages of research and other mathematical work are welcomed, expository and introductory topics are especially encouraged so that talks are as accessible to as many participants as possible.

Partial funding for travel and lodging will be available, with priority given to those giving contributed talks.
