Why I joined this lab: As an aspiring psychotherapist, I was interested in joining this lab because I wanted to expand my active listening skills that are relevant to not only the interviews we host with students, but also to the therapeutic relationship I hope to build one day. At the same time, I was intrigued to learn about the unique and varying ways that people express and reflect on their romantic relationships.
Future plans: I hope to enroll in a Master's in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness program! Equally, I wish to open my own private practice of psychotherapy that promotes empowerment and authenticity through holistic and multicultural approaches.
