Bluetooth Low Energy (sometimes called BLE, Bluetooth LE, or Bluetooth Smart) is a newer standard and it is not compatible with the Bluetooth classic protocol. Heart for Bluetooth application works only with the Bluetooth Low Energy standard. This standard is supported by all modern monitors and computers.
Start Heart for Bluetooth on your Watch
Your Heart Rate will be available shortly on the [Activity] screen
You have now 120 seconds to pair a client device
If you need more time, you can restart the Beacon on the [Connection] screen
The [Connection] screen shows two values:
Connected devices
Subscribed devices
For a successful heart rate transmission two steps are required: the client device has to establish a Bluetooth connection and subscribe for heart rate data. The two values display if both steps were successful.
A common issue during connecting your client device is a situation where the client device establishes a Bluetooth connection but does not subscribe for the heart rate data. See the [Troubleshooting] screen for further details on how to resolve this problem.
