This four-hour course covers the fundamentals of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), using a bag-valve mask for breathing assistance, and operating an automated external defibrillator (AED). It also addresses managing choking incidents, opioid overdoses, and special considerations for cardiac arrest patients. Additionally, we explore the emotional aspects of performing CPR and discuss strategies to both protect one’s mental and physical health in these high stress situations.
This hour-long course covers the essentials of bleeding control and first aid for injury related situations. We will discuss techniques such as direct pressure bandaging, the application of tourniquets, and splinting. Students will have the opportunity to practice all the skills taught during the course and will leave with a deeper understanding on how to manage injuries within their communities.
Note: We will provide all class equipment if needed. We also offer recertification classes for those who have certification already. We offer classes at your location and will bring all materials to you.
