Are you a facilitator who is interested in learning a new approach to community-based planning AND sharing your skills locally?
We are looking for community-based facilitators that have experience guiding group processes, that are productive communicators, and who appreciate the role of participatory creative processes.
We are offering a knowledge exchange with experienced facilitators: free registration for the 10-week HCP course and mentoring in the HCP methodology in exchange for facilitation of a weekly small group discussion.
What would be involved:

Attend and participate in the workshop series every week for 10 weeks (Wednesdays 9am - 12:30 pm PT from April 13 - June 15)
Coordinate and facilitate a small group to meet weekly (at a different time than the above workshop)
Attend a weekly meeting (usually directly before the course) with all facilitators to discuss and understand course material.
Attend a debrief of the course immediately after each workshop.
Time commitment is 5-6 hours a week for 11-12 weeks but no more than 75 hours (April to June 2022).
The ideal candidates are facilitators who have:
At least 1-3 years facilitation experience (combined education, training and applied work)
An orientation to detail
Strong interest or experience in supporting community-led planning
Relationships with First Nations, Métis or Inuit Peoples and their communities
Indigenous-lived experience
An interest in and willingness to learn
