For me Philippians 2:5 is a key scripture with deep implications.
Not to play Jesus outwardly in your ego, but to broaden your mind in regard to your own reality and relationship with Life.
We can have only one mind, we can serve only one master! Through Phil 2:5 we create a gap between our Self and our mind; Jesus becomes more real and important than our own person, if we choose to, after careful contemplation.
All the statements Jesus makes become your own statements that you can explore, feel and make your own; but be careful what you ask for:
"Who do you say I am? Flesh or Spirit?"

Ask this yourself: Who or what am I?
Am I a time-bound body or faceless, formless Awareness?

I am = the first born, individualized Consciousness, Awareness, me free of false identity and suffering.
LORD = absence of the person, the separate-self.
light = light of Awareness, illumining all objects arising and subsiding in and as Awareness itself.
'this world' = man's interpretation, filtered through the conditioned mind; seeing multiplicity and diversity.
Earth = God's perfect creation.

truth = that which never changes in YOU = Awareness

Nothing can come to you that is not known, or predestined according to God's will.
Father = Father state of Consciousness; 'the cause of the phenomena of life'; benevolent, fulfilling, no-thing.
