Healthy and Safe Students is a campaign that advocates for evidence-based, medically accurate, non-stigmatizing, and inclusive sexuality and health education. Join us to fight for better reproductive health, an end to gender-based violence, safer spaces for LGBTQ+ youth, and greater educational access for students.
who we are
who we are
We are a coalition of advocates and organizations that believe comprehensive health education for k-12 students is critical for:
promoting better reproductive health, including preventing unwanted pregnancies and lowering rates of STIs
ending gender based and intimate partner violence by teaching a culture of consent from an early age
protecting and supporting queer youth by destigmatizing LGBTQ+ sexuality and gender expression
teaching healthy relationships, better mental health practices, and emotional and social wellbeing
ending harassment and bullying in school
What we do
What we do
We champion comprehensive sex ed and better health curriculum for all students through:
Collaborating with legislators on city, state, and national levels to advocate for our bill
Raising awareness on the issues (like gender based violence, public health, reproductive justice, etc) that CSE can help address
Listening to students, teachers, parents, and counselors about what their needs are to improve education and mental health
Fighting the stigmas that surround sex ed
Utilizing direct action, lobbying, and media to engage more people in our campaign
