Cecile’s Pharmacy traces back to a modest drugstore established on August 4, 1964, by Mr. Ramon Saavedra and Ms. Thelma Saavedra. Nestled along the corner of Magay Street in Zamboanga City, this small venture marked the beginning of a remarkable journey.

Our Founders:

• Mr. Ramon Saavedra: A seasoned entrepreneur.

• Ms. Thelma Saavedra: The heart and soul of the establishment.

A Family Legacy:

As fate would have it, their son, Gil, served as a Medical Representative in a renowned pharmaceutical company after graduating with a degree in BS-Psychology from the University of Santo Tomas. Eventually, he returned home to assist his mother in managing their drugstore.

The Mother-Son Tandem:

Together, Ms. Thelma and Mr.Gil infused Cecile’s Pharmacy with an unwavering passion. Their commitment to excellence, personalized service, and community well-being propelled the establishment to new heights. Today, we proudly bear the name “Cecile’s Pharmacy,” a beacon of trust and care.

Expanding Horizons:

With pride, Cecile’s Pharmacy has blossomed into a network of 30 branches across the Zamboanga Peninsula. Our team of over 500 employees tirelessly serves the community, ensuring access to quality healthcare for 59 years and counting.
