Mr Josam C. Kapsata

Mr Kapsata is a Pharmacy Technologist, having completed his Diploma in Pharmacy at Malawi College of Health Sciences. He later did an introduction to BioInformatics offered by the Pan African Bioinformatics Network for the Human Heredity and Health in Africa (H3Africa) consortium. His focus onwards is much dwelt on digital health, which in 2024 made him do a Certificate In AI Career Essentials which was offered by Africa Leadership Network (ALX). Apart from health related studies, he also holds a Certificate In Accounting, obtained in 2016 from Institute of Chartered Accountants in Malawi (ICAM). From these, he has a wide knowledge, skills and experience in medicine dispensing, pharmaceutics, medicine management, logistics management information system, dispense-ware, research, communication, leadership, graphic design, AI, genomic analysis, DNA & protein sequence alignment,  basic unix command line, project management, MS WORD, EXCEL, Powerpoint, financial statements, budgeting, costing, taxation and others. As a digital health enthusiast, his driving force stems from a deep-rooted passion for leveraging technology to address healthcare disparities and improve health outcomes across Africa. His long-term goal is to pioneer innovative solutions that empower individuals and communities, ensuring equitable access to healthcare resources and expertise. He is motivated by the transformative potential of digital health to revolutionize healthcare delivery, access to healthcare services, and ensuring safety to healthcare workers and community.

Mr Blaston Kapsata

Results-driven professional with 11 years of experience at the Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA). He successfully managed records and revenue teams, implemented process improvements, and consistently exceeded performance targets. Currently pursuing an MBA in Organizational Leadership to further develop his strategic leadership and management skills. His academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Skilled in data analysis, team management, and revenue administration, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results. Additionally, he has a strong passion for agriculture and sustainable development, with a vision to contribute to the growth and transformation of the agricultural sector in Malawi. He is also the founder of a small-scale farming initiative, Lwazi farms, which focuses on sustainable farming practices and community engagement. He is dedicated to leveraging his expertise and leadership abilities to drive organizational success and contribute to the growth and development of organizations and communities.
