Welcome to Health Guru, a body composition tracking application designed for Herbalife Nutrition Club coaches and wellness professionals. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information entered into the Health Guru app.
By using Health Guru, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Health Guru is operated by independent Herbalife Nutrition Club coaches for the purpose of tracking client body composition and wellness progress. The app is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Herbalife International of America, Inc.
Health Guru collects the following information that is entered manually by the wellness coach:
Full name
Phone number / WhatsApp number
Gender
Age
Height
Herbalife Member ID (optional)
Profile photo (optional)
Weight
Body Fat Percentage
Visceral Fat
Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR)
Body Mass Index (BMI)
Body Age
Sub-Cutaneous Fat Percentage
Muscle Percentage
Measurement date and notes
Club name
Coach name
Coach phone number
Herbalife Coach ID (optional)
Coach profile photo (optional)
The information collected is used solely for the following purposes:
Displaying body composition measurements and progress reports to the wellness coach
Generating PDF health reports to share with clients
Tracking weekly progress and comparing measurements over time
Providing health status indicators based on standard body composition benchmarks
We do not use your information for:
Advertising or marketing
Selling or renting data to third parties
Automated decision-making or profiling beyond the app's measurement analysis
Any purpose beyond what is described in this policy
All data entered into Health Guru is stored locally on the device only.
No data is uploaded to any external server, cloud service, or database
No internet connection is required to use the core features of the app
Data persists on the device until the app is uninstalled or manually deleted
Photos selected for coach and client profiles are stored as file references on the local device
We do not share, sell, rent, or trade any personal information with third parties.
The only instance where information leaves the device is when the wellness coach explicitly chooses to share a PDF report using the device's native share function (e.g., via WhatsApp, email, or other messaging apps). This sharing is entirely at the coach's discretion and is initiated manually.
Health Guru collects body composition data which may be considered health-related information. This data is:
Entered voluntarily by the wellness coach on behalf of the client
Stored only on the coach's device
Used only to generate progress reports and health summaries
Never transmitted to any external party by the app itself
Clients should be informed by their wellness coach that their measurements are being recorded in this application.
If a coach or client photo is added:
The app accesses the device photo library only when the user explicitly taps the photo picker
Photos are stored locally on the device
Photos are never uploaded to any server
Photo access permission can be revoked at any time through your device settings
Health Guru is intended for use by wellness professionals and adult clients. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under the age of 18 without the consent of a parent or guardian.
All data is stored on your device and remains there until you delete it
You can delete individual client records within the app
Uninstalling the app will remove all stored data from the device
There is no account or server-side backup — deleted data cannot be recovered
Since all data is stored locally on your device, the security of your data depends on your device's security measures. We recommend:
Using a screen lock (PIN, pattern, fingerprint, or face ID) on your device
Not sharing your device with unauthorized individuals
Keeping your device's operating system up to date
As a user of Health Guru, you have the right to:
Access — View all data stored in the app at any time
Correction — Edit any client or measurement record within the app
Deletion — Delete any client record or the entire app data at any time
Portability — Share data via PDF reports at your discretion
Since all data is stored locally, these rights are exercised directly within the app itself.
Health Guru does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services.
The app uses the following device features only when explicitly triggered by the user:
Photo Library — for selecting profile photos
Native Share Sheet — for sharing PDF reports via WhatsApp, email, etc.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
