Saurabh Chavan is a Psychologist and Assistant Professor of Psychology at Pimpri Chinchwad University, School of Science. He works both in academic and therapeutic domains, integrating scientific psychological frameworks with contemplative and holistic approaches. Alongside his academic role, he is the Founder of Healing Hearts and practices as a Psychologist on a pay-what-you-can model, making mental health services more accessible to diverse student and community populations.
He has over five years of clinical counseling experience, working with adolescents, young adults, and working professionals focusing on emotional healing, stress and trauma recovery, relationship concerns, self-esteem building, and personal growth. His therapeutic approach blends psychotherapy, mindfulness, and meditative insight, reflecting his 10+ years of meditation practice and one year of monastic experience, offering clients a grounded, compassionate, and balanced healing environment.
In the academic sphere, he has four published research papers and one published book, with two more books and two research papers currently in the editing phase. His teaching journey spans four years, during which he has taught subjects such as Positive Psychology, Health Psychology, Applied Psychology, Sports Psychology, Industrial Psychology, Developmental Psychology, etc.
He has coordinated and conducted field visits, intervention activities, intercollegiate academic events, and psychological training sessions ,and has designed therapeutic blend of approaches focusing on trauma healing, emotional regulation, and self-integration. His research interests include meditation, holistic well-being, resilience, flourishing, and the role of belief systems in psychological development.
Saurabh also actively creates mental and physical wellness awareness content, and is currently integrating personal fitness journeys, emotional resilience training, and community engagement as part of a mind-body wellness approach.
