Headstone Cleaning of the Carolinas was established by Rebecca England in 2022 when she visited her ancestor's graves in Western New York and saw that many of them needed care. Living in South Carolina, Rebecca realized she was unable to care for the graves and headstones of those who came before her due to distance and wanted to create a service for others in similar situations. Rebecca decided to take on this business and launched Headstone Cleaning of the Carolinas.

Rebecca England has a keen interest in local history, genealogy, preservation, historical interpretation, and art. She teaches English at a local high school and enjoys integrating her love of history and art into her lessons to make learning relevant and fun for younger generations.
