## 1. Overview
HeadLar is designed to keep your workspace data local to your browser. The extension stores workspace data in browser extension storage so it can remember your saved workspaces and settings.
HeadLar does not send your workspace data to a server. It does not use analytics, tracking, ads, payment features, or remote code.
## 2. What HeadLar Stores Locally
HeadLar stores the following information locally in your browser:
- Workspace names.
- Workspace colors.
- Saved workspace URLs.
- Optional URL labels.
- Extension settings, such as startup workspace, launch mode, duplicate prevention, and theme preference.
This data is stored locally using browser extension storage. It is not uploaded to HeadLar, because HeadLar does not have a backend server.
## 3. What HeadLar Does Not Do
HeadLar does not:
- Track users.
- Use analytics.
- Sell data.
- Send workspace data to a server.
- Use remote code.
- Show ads.
- Include payment features.
- Change your homepage.
- Change your search engine.

## 4. How HeadLar Uses Permissions
HeadLar uses only these extension permissions:
**storage**
HeadLar uses this permission to save your workspaces, workspace colors, saved URLs, optional labels, settings, theme preference, and backup-related data locally in your browser.
**tabs**
HeadLar uses this permission for workspace features, including opening saved workspaces, supporting startup workspace launch, checking open tabs for duplicate prevention, and creating a workspace from the current window when you choose that option.
## 5. Tabs Permission Explanation
Browsers may describe the tabs permission as reading browsing history. HeadLar does not upload, sell, or transmit browsing history. HeadLar uses this permission only for workspace-related features, such as opening saved workspaces, avoiding duplicate tabs, supporting startup launch, and creating a workspace from the current window when you choose that option.
## 6. Data Sharing
HeadLar does not share workspace data with third parties.
HeadLar does not sell data.
HeadLar does not send workspace names, colors, URLs, labels, or settings to a server.
If you export a JSON backup, that backup file is created locally on your device. You control where that file goes.
## 7. Data Deletion
You can delete saved workspaces from the HeadLar options page.
You can clear extension data through your browser settings.
You can uninstall HeadLar at any time. Uninstalling the extension removes its local extension data according to your browser's extension storage behavior.
## 8. Remote Code
HeadLar does not use remote code.
HeadLar does not load external scripts, remote libraries, tracking pixels, or analytics scripts.
## 9. Changes To This Policy
This privacy policy may be updated if HeadLar changes in a way that affects privacy, permissions, or data handling.
When this policy is updated, the "Last updated" date will be changed.
