FOUNDER AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Sanjana Saravanan is the Founder and CEO of HEAAL, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting global health through education, innovation, and action. With a deep passion for medicine, research, and community service, she strives to empower youth to make a real impact in healthcare. Sanjana is a visionary leader committed to expanding health awareness, advocating for change, and creating sustainable initiatives that improve lives. Through HEAAL, she aims to build a network of young changemakers dedicated to shaping a healthier future. A sophomore at Huntley High School, Sanjana is also an avid performer in American classical singing, Indian Carnatic singing, Bharatnatyam, and piano.
VICE-PRESIDENT
Aashi Sura is a sophomore at Huntley High School who has always been dedicated to helping others and giving back to the community. She enjoys playing travel soccer, dancing, volunteering, biking, spending time with family and friends, socializing, trying new things, and meeting new people. She is looking forward to creating change and spreading awareness through HEAAL.
SECRETARY
Amira Seiitbekova is a sophomore at Huntley High School with a strong passion for volunteering and helping others. She is an active member of Leo’s Club, where she dedicates her time to community service. Known for being friendly and supportive, she enjoys bringing people together and making volunteers feel valued. Outside of school, she loves reading, drawing, and spending time with friends.
TREASURER
James Doughty, a sophomore at Huntley High School, is passionate about finance. As a dedicated soccer and tennis player, he brings teamwork, discipline, and a competitive drive to his leadership role. His sharp financial mindset helps him find innovative ways to secure funding and support impactful initiatives. With his ambition and strategic thinking, James is committed to ensuring the success of HEAAL.
DIRECTOR OF OUTREACH
Anjana Gopal is a junior at Lake Zurich High School passionate about global health education. Her devotion to dance fuels her energy, focus, and sense of connection, while also instilling discipline and purpose—qualities she brings to her work with HEAAL. She is eager to help grow global health communities.
DIRECTOR OF DIGITAL MARKETING
Lemao Kuresa is a sophomore at El Cerrito High School in California. She grew up making videos with her older cousins, which led to her love for editing and digital content. She cares deeply about healthcare and human rights, and is grateful to use HEAAL as a platform to combine her interests and share helpful information about health.
CO-DIRECTOR OF THE GLOBAL HEALTH AMBASSADORS PROGRAM
Stuti Dhungana is a sophomore at Huntley High School. She has a passion for helping others in any way she can. She's frequently involved in the Student Council, works with Buddies Club, and frequently volunteers with Silver Cord. Stuti puts a great deal of effort into grades and education, but also makes time for her pleasures in life, like band and music. With her dedication and effort, she'll make a good impact through HEAAL.
CO-DIRECTOR OF THE GLOBAL HEALTH AMBASSADORS PROGRAM
Trentin Johnson is a sophomore at Huntley High School. He is involved in Silver Cord, where he devotes time volunteering to help the community. He values academics and enjoys playing tennis, chess, and skiing outside of school. With a passion for healthcare, he aims to promote health knowledge and accessibility for communities throughout the world and support HEAAL in its mission to do that.
DIRECTOR OF THE HEALTHCARE CAREERS & OCCUPATIONS PROGRAM
Calvin Lin is a sophomore at the STEM Early College at North Carolina A&T with a love for math and healthcare. In his free time, he loves hanging out with friends, trying new math problems, and playing Roblox. In school, Calvin enjoys being a part of HOSA, DECA, Mock Trial, and various other clubs. He's so excited to be on the Board for HEAAL and can't wait to use his position to improve global healthcare!
DIRECTOR OF THE MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
Mritula Boubalan is a junior at Robbinsville Highschool, with a keen interest intrest in helping others in her community. Currently, she is an active member in the Madhatter Knits Organization, where she is constantly making little hats for both newborn and premature babies. Aside from this, she has a passion for Bharatanatyam, swimming, volunteering, and baking. She's a really excited to a be a part of the HEAAL team and can't wait to create a positive impact in global health!
