2024 Kentucky OVR Comprehensive Statewide Needs Assessment

Purpose

The Kentucky Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (click to learn more) (OVR) Comprehensive Statewide Needs Assessment (CSNA) assesses the vocational rehabilitation needs of Kentuckians with disabilities every three years, as required by the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (as amended). OVR uses the results to develop and update its state plan for vocational rehabilitation services, and to help determine objectives and priorities.

The University of Kentucky Human Development Institute (click to learn more) (HDI) is developing 2024 OVR CSNA through gathering information and analyzing current and projected needs of individuals with disabilities within Kentucky. The final report will provide strategic recommendations to enable OVR to develop effective programs and services to support the vocational rehabilitation process.
