HD Camera: Ultra HD Lens
Privacy Policy
Last Updated: April 07, 2026
HD Camera: Ultra HD Lens ("the App") is a camera application that lets you capture photos and videos with features like zoom, HDR, filters, and pro capture modes. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Please read this policy carefully. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
This Privacy Policy applies to the HD Camera: Ultra HD Lens Android app developed by Hades Strom. It describes the types of information we may collect or access, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
The App does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information such as name, email, or phone number. Any data recovery or local processing happens directly on your device.
We do not collect any personally identifiable information from you through the App itself. Photos and videos you capture or select stay on your device unless you choose to share them outside the App.
We collect or access minimal information, and only what is necessary for the App to function:
Device and usage data: Basic technical information such as device model, operating system version, and app performance metrics (through Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics). This data is unidentified and helps us improve stability and features.
Media content: Photos and videos you capture or select using the App. These remain under your control on your device.
Permission-related data: When you grant permissions (e.g., Camera or Microphone), the App accesses hardware only during active use.
We do not collect your location data unless you explicitly enable it for location-based features and give consent. Even then, it is used only as needed and with your permission.
We do not require or collect names, emails, phone numbers, or other personal identifiers.
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), we rely on the following legal bases under GDPR:
Performance of a contract: Processing necessary to provide the core camera features you request.
Legitimate interests: Improving app performance, fixing crashes, and showing relevant ads to keep the App free or low-cost for most users.
Consent: For optional permissions like notifications, precise location, or certain premium features. You can withdraw consent at any time via device settings.
The App requests certain Android permissions only when needed. We explain each one clearly so you understand why it is required. You can manage or revoke permissions anytime in your device settings.
Camera Permission: Required to access your device's camera so you can take photos and record videos directly in the App. Camera access activates only when you tap the capture button. Without this, core photo and video features will not work.
Microphone Permission: Used to record audio when you capture videos or use any voice-related features. Microphone access starts only after you begin recording and stops when you finish.
Photos & Videos (Media Access / Storage): Allows the App to read images and videos from your device's gallery or storage when you choose to select existing media for editing, filtering, or sharing within the App. We do not scan your entire gallery or collect media in the background.
Notification Access (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used to send occasional notifications about app updates, new features, or important information that enhances your experience. Notifications are not sent for marketing without your consent.
Location (Precise & Approximate): Optional. Used only for location-based features (such as geotagging photos if enabled) and only with your explicit consent. Location data is not collected or stored by us beyond what is needed for the immediate feature.
All permissions follow Android best practices and are requested at the moment they are needed (runtime permissions). We do not use permissions for any purpose other than described.
All photos, videos, and user-created content are stored locally on your device. We do not upload or store your media on our servers.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data processed within the App. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security against all threats.
Firebase services (Analytics and Crashlytics) may process limited, anonymized technical data. This data is handled according to Google's security standards.
We use the following third-party libraries and SDKs to provide a better experience. Each serves a specific technical purpose. None of these libraries collect personal data directly through our App beyond what is described.
Firebase Analytics: Helps us understand how users interact with features (e.g., which camera modes are popular) and improve the App. Data is anonymized and does not identify you personally. See Firebase Privacy and Security.
Firebase Crashlytics: Automatically reports crashes and errors so we can fix stability issues quickly. Reports contain technical details but no personal identifiers. See Firebase Privacy and Security.
SDP (com.intuit.sdp:sdp-android): A library for scalable density-independent pixels to create responsive user interfaces that look good on different screen sizes and device ratios. It does not collect or transmit any user data.
SSP (com.intuit.ssp:ssp-android): Similar to SDP, this helps with scalable text sizes for consistent typography across devices. No data collection involved.
Glide (com.github.bumptech.glide:glide): An efficient image loading library used to display thumbnails, previews, or any media inside the App smoothly. It processes images locally on your device. (Glide is an open-source library with no separate privacy policy for end-user data collection in this context.)
Multidex (androidx.multidex:multidex): Enables the App to support a large number of methods for better functionality. Purely technical, no data impact.
For advertising, we use Google AdMob, AdX (Google Ad Manager), and Facebook (Meta) Audience Network. These services may collect device and advertising identifiers for showing personalized or non-personalized ads.
See:
The App displays ads served by AdMob, AdX, and Facebook (Meta) Audience Network. Ads may use device identifiers, IP address, or general location to show relevant advertisements.
We use Firebase Analytics for anonymous usage statistics and Firebase Crashlytics for error reporting. These tools help us improve performance and fix bugs.
You can limit personalized advertising through your device settings (Google Ad Settings or similar).
As this is a mobile app, we do not use traditional browser cookies. However, advertising and analytics SDKs may use similar technologies such as advertising IDs or device identifiers for tracking ad performance and analytics. These follow the privacy policies of the respective providers linked above.
We process very limited data. Any technical or usage data processed by Firebase or ad networks is handled under their terms and is generally anonymized or aggregated.
Your captured photos and videos are never sent to us or third parties unless you manually share them.
For in-app purchases, limited non-personal subscription status may be shared with us by Google to unlock premium features (see section 11).
Data stored locally on your device (photos, videos, settings) remains until you delete it or uninstall the App.
Firebase retains anonymized analytics and crash data according to their retention policies.
Uninstalling the App removes all local data associated with it from your device.
The App offers in-app purchases and paid subscriptions for premium features.
All payments and subscriptions are handled safely by Google Play Billing. We do not collect, store, or see your payment details such as card information or Google account passwords.
Subscriptions:
Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel them before the next billing date. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime from your Google Play account settings. If you cancel, you will continue to enjoy premium features until the current billing period ends.
Purchase Information:
Google may share limited, non-personal purchase details with us, such as subscription status or validity, so we can unlock premium features.
Refunds & Cancellations:
All refund requests must be made through Google Play, following Google Play’s refund rules.
Third-Party Sharing:
We do not share your purchase or subscription information with any third parties, except when required by Google for payment verification.
Policies:
All in-app purchases and subscriptions follow Google Play Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.
If you are in the EEA, you have rights including:
Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you (mainly technical data from Firebase).
Correction or Deletion: Request correction or deletion where applicable.
Restriction or Objection: Object to certain processing or request restriction.
Portability: Request transfer of your data in certain cases.
To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below. We will respond as required by law. Note that local device data is managed directly by you through your device.
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of sale of personal information.
We do not "sell" personal information as defined under CCPA. Limited data shared with ad networks is for advertising services, not sale.
You may exercise rights by contacting us. We do not discriminate against users who exercise their rights.
We do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals from browsers because this is a mobile application. You can manage advertising preferences through your device or ad network settings.
If data is transferred outside your country (for example, to Google servers in the United States for Firebase or ads), it is done with appropriate safeguards as required by law, in accordance with the providers' policies.
We design the App to avoid malware or harmful network activity. We do not engage in any misuse of your network or device resources beyond normal app operation. If you notice suspicious behavior, please contact us.
The App may contain links to third-party websites or services (for example, sharing options). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those external services. Please review their privacy policies before using them.
The App is not targeted at or intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such data, we will take steps to delete it.
We may disclose information if required to do so by law, court order, or government request, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App or legal requirements. We will post the new version with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
