HDAAS 2027 (Human-Centric Decision Intelligence and Adaptive Autonomous Systems) is an international workshop dedicated to the next generation of intelligent systems that combine human sensing, contextual understanding, artificial intelligence, and autonomous decision-making.
The workshop explores how information obtained from humans, sensors, and intelligent environments can be transformed into actionable knowledge supporting adaptive and autonomous systems. HDAAS provides a forum for researchers and practitioners working at the intersection of pervasive computing, AI, human–AI collaboration, robotics, cyber-physical systems, and intelligent decision support.
The objective of HDAAS 2027 is to advance research on intelligent systems capable of perceiving their environment, understanding context, making informed decisions, and adapting their behavior in dynamic conditions.
The workshop promotes interdisciplinary collaboration among researchers working in:
Human-Centric Sensing and Human–AI Collaboration
Context-Aware and Pervasive Intelligence
Decision Intelligence and Explainable AI
Autonomous and Cyber-Physical Systems
Planning, Scheduling, and Resource Optimization
Machine Learning, Hybrid AI, and Adaptive Intelligent Systems
For additional information about the workshop, including its vision, objectives, and research scope, please visit the About page.
Original, unpublished papers presenting original research, including completed or ongoing work are invited. Submitted manuscripts must not be under review for any other conference or journal.
Papers must follow the official IEEE PerCom 2027 formatting guidelines.
The maximum paper length is 6 pages, with one additional page permitted (maximum 7 pages).
All submissions will be handled through the official IEEE PerCom 2027 submission system. The submission link will be announced soon.
All submitted papers will undergo a rigorous peer-review process conducted by the HDAAS 2027 Program Committee.
Accepted papers will be included in the IEEE PerCom 2027 Workshop Proceedings and submitted for publication in IEEE Xplore, subject to IEEE publication policies.
Each accepted paper requires at least one valid full IEEE PerCom 2027 registration.
All accepted papers must be presented in person during the workshop. Papers without a valid full registration or without an in-person presentation will be excluded from the conference proceedings.
AI-assisted tools: If AI-assisted tools were used in preparing the manuscript, authors must disclose their use during submission in accordance with the IEEE Principles of Ethical Use of Artificial Intelligence in Publishing. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and content of their submitted work
The IEEE LaTeX and Microsoft Word templates, as well as formatting instructions, can be found here.
