October 31 Update
We continue to stand in solidarity with those martyred in occupied Palestine. At the same time, we remain horrified as the Western world continues to sidestep the issue of a ceasefire, and stunned that the Palestinian people continue to receive little humanitarian support. We also want to take a moment to honor Dr. Talat Khan, murdered in front of her house in Texas, and those who have been killed at the Jabalia refugee camp. There are sometimes no words to describe the horrors we are witnessing.
There is, however, an invigorating energy to be found in the solidarity for Palestine worldwide and among our community. Below are some updates from around the country–as always, please reach out if you are planning or have planned a similar event.
The only asks we have this week are to:
Keep us posted of events ahead of time–we can assist with press releases and toolkits and support via our network
Continue petitioning your elected officials–we are working on a national strategy to push our elected officials to sign the ceasefire bill
Attend the National March for Palestine listed below, as part of the health workers contingent.
