Prospective Ph.D. students
I have a fully-funded Ph.D. position in the Department of Systems Science and Industrial Engineering (SSIE) at Binghamton University with a specialization in Human Factors Engineering starting Fall 2022. A funding offer is contingent upon admission into the doctoral program in Systems Science S or Industrial and Systems Engineering. The Ph.D. student will work with Dr. Chao Shi, whose research interests are visual behavior, healthcare, performance prediction, situation awareness, cognitive and mathematical modeling.
Candidates with one of the following qualifications are encouraged to apply: (1) human factors/human-computer interaction background; (2) programming skills in VR/AR/driving simulator systems; (3) background in computer science, healthcare, or psychology; (4) proficient in data analysis; (5) experience in EEG, eye-tracking, and experiment design.
