Zoning Coordination

• • Provide existing zoning maps. See examples on the Zoning Maps page.

  • Provide blank templates for new zoning district planning.

Property boundaries

• • Aerials or modern grey maps showing property boundaries with parcel numbers and/or owner names.

Improvements tracking

• • Provide basic templates for beginning planning.

  • Coordinate with the Engineer’s office to get street improvements from past years for jurisdiction leaders to plan next phase.

  • As even large maps can be too small to see necessary details, especially in aerials, breaking the jurisdiction across several pages ensures you're seeing what you need to develop your plans.

    • Feature Atlas - each page shows the area of each road block; scale will vary. For example having a page for every road from intersection to intersection, or showing each parcel individually.

    • Tiled Atlas - each page uses the same desired scale and coverage dimensions across the entire area of interest.

Provide summary or tabular infrastructure data for:

Cemeteries

Past cemetery projects have made us realize that auditing, mapping, and maintaining cemetery records is a significant undertaking involving hundreds of hours of work for most cemeteries, so is not available through the county. Aerials, boundary data, and basic training on GIS software for these purposes however is available to help get you started.
