In search of a design that will give students a thorough education in philosophy, including fields such as metaphysics, epistemology, ethics, logic, and social and political philosophy. The Holy Cross of Davao College - Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy program was launched in 2020 in response to the requirement for students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in philosophy to have a solid foundation in philosophical studies.
The Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy is a journey of exploring the deepest questions regarding human existence, including the nature of reality, the purpose of life, and the difficulties of morality and social justice. This program emphasizes the intellectual potential of minds while giving a solid understanding of concrete problems and circumstances. Philosophy discusses, understands, assesses, and applies theories to real-world situations. It investigates the moral rules and ideals that guide human action and gives people and society a framework for making ethically acceptable decisions.
The program emphasizes discourse and dialogue and encourages students to engage with other philosophical traditions and viewpoints to challenge their beliefs and principles. The teachers in the program are guided in their fields and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the curriculum, ensuring that students receive a challenging and engaging education.
