Hope Chinese Charter School is a highly regarded Chinese‑English immersion school in the Beaverton School District. Our students consistently rank among the top statewide in math and English, and the school has long been recognized as one of Oregon’s best charter elementary schools. Many families hope to enroll their children here, and the waitlist grows every year. We continue working hard to provide more high‑quality learning opportunities for our community.
However, charter school funding is always limited: students receive only 80–85% of the funding that public schools receive; the school must pay for its own building rent, maintenance, and repairs; and dual‑language programs require higher staffing costs. Community support truly makes a difference.
In addition, to ensure long‑term stability and growth—and to serve more students and families in our community—the school is currently working toward purchasing a building to serve as a permanent campus. The costs involved in buying the property, renovating the facility, and completing the zoning‑code change are substantial. Even after using most of the school’s savings and securing a bank loan, there remains a significant funding gap that we hope to fill together with the support of our community. Our event is entirely supported by parent volunteers who generously give their time. Please help us honor their hard work. If an unavoidable situation prevents you from picking up your order, please send an email to junma594@gmail.com to notify us.
