Pastor Profile & Qualifications

Essential qualifications:

1. Spiritual Leadership: Passionate devotion to Jesus Christ with demonstrated love and Spirit-led ministry. Personal integrity and identity rooted in Christ. Theological training from a bible-based tertiary institution.

2. Ministry Excellence: Strong preaching, teaching, and communication abilities. Sound knowledge of Baptist ethos in New Zealand context. Proven pastoral care and shepherding skills.

3. Leadership & Development: Servant leadership with team-building and collaborative spirit. Ability to identify, develop, and delegate effectively. Strategic vision for church growth and community outreach.

4. Cultural Qualities: Self-awareness with healthy boundaries and resilience. Strong interpersonal skills including listening and conflict management. Cultural competency, acknowledging Te Tiriti o Waitangi's importance.
