Henry Ramiro Carvajal Mora, PhD

Henry Carvajal was born in Quito, Ecuador. He received a B.Sc. degree in electronics and telecommunications engineering from the Armed Forces University-ESPE, Ecuador, in 2009, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (FEEC), University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil, in 2014 and 2018, respectively. He was ranked first in his undergraduate program. He was Director of the Technology Transfer Area in the Education, Science and Technology Secretariat (SENESCYT), Ecuador, 2018. Since September 2018, he is a full professor in the telecommunications engineering course at the Universidad de Las Américas (UDLA), Quito, Ecuador. He is also a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). His research interests are fading channels, diversity-combining systems, orthogonal and non-orthogonal multiple access, multiuser detection, MIMO, 5G, and B5G technologies.
