Velpuri Manikanta

Hello, I am Velpuri Manikanta, a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Civil Engineering at IIT Hyderabad. My current research is centered on developing transfer function models to enable the direct calibration of hydrological models in ungauged basins. These transfer function models utilize remotely sensed data, reanalysis products, and Land Surface Model (LSM) based fluxes for reliable calibration of hydrological models, avoiding the need for computationally expensive regionalization techniques and ultimately improving hydrological predictions in ungauged basins.
