I am a doctoral student in the IIT Hyderabad Department of Climate Change, dedicated to exploring the complex dynamics of climate systems and making significant contributions to this critical field. My PhD research focuses on microphysical analysis of hydrometeors in deep convective systems and tropical cyclones clouds. I aim to integrate Explainable AI (XAI) with climate studies to enhance our understanding and prediction of these phenomena.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's degree in Meteorology and Oceanography, where I graduated with a gold medal. Additionally, I have a Post Graduate Diploma in Data science and analytics from NASSCOM and the Ministry of Telecommunications, GoI. My academic journey has equipped me with a robust foundation in both engineering principles and atmospheric sciences.
Throughout my academic career, I have been awarded several prestigious fellowships, including the DST scholarship during my Bachelor's, the MoE fellowship during my Master's, and the DST INSPIRE fellowship [Provisional] for pursuing PhD. These experiences have honed my skills in data science and deep learning, fueling my ambition to bridge theoretical climate science with practical, data-driven solutions to mitigate the impacts of climate change. I firmly believe that innovative approaches and interdisciplinary collaboration are key to making a meaningful difference in this field.
