My name is Daneti Arun Sourya, and I am from Visakhapatnam. I hold a B-Tech in Civil Engineering from MVGR and Master's in Water Resources Engineering from IIT Bhubaneswar. Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Water Resources Engineering at both IIT Hyderabad and Swinburne University. During my M-Tech, I worked on projects such as estimating evapotranspiration for tropical savanna regions for my thesis and conducted additional work estimating continuous evapotranspiration spatially using flux tower data. In my Ph.D., I am focusing on developing a novel framework for predicting streamflow in ungauged basins using a Bayesian analysis approach to reduce estimation errors in continuous streamflow in Indian catchments. Additionally, I aim to utilize existing remote sensing data to estimate and forecast streamflow in ungauged basins for Indian catchments.
