Previous Projects
Global Soles for Souls Shoe Drive
After months of planning, we set out donation boxes in order to collect gently used or brand new shoes for those who do not have the means to purchase shoes for themselves or their family members. After counting all of the shoes, we came to an astonishing number of 666!
Stork Project
We partner up with the Stork Project regularly with projects like packaging costumes, making diaper and wipe bundles, and creating Flu packages for little kids.
End 68 Hours of Hunger
We worked with the Hollis Brookline Rotary and other rotaries to fill bags with donated food to help those in need.
Special Olympics
We have gone to UNH to help with Special Olympics. We have done many tasks for the Special Olympians, including serving them food, cheering them on, guiding them to their next race and even riding buses with them to different destinations.
Hollis Fast 5K
This is an annual event for Interact. We are responsible to taking care of the racers' possessions while they run.
Delivered Suicide Prevention Signs
We delivered yard signs to the residents of HB who ordered them.
Chemo-care Packages
We helped put together bags that had everything from hand sanitizer to fun magazines with tons of games for patients to enjoy while going through their Chemocare treatment. We also created dozens of signs of encouragement.
Annual Cards to Veterans and Nursing Homes
Every year, on special holidays, we as a group write and decorate upwards of 100 cards for veterans to read. We have decorated cards for holidays like Christmas and Valentine's Day.
Xavier House
We created door decorations for our elderly friends at the Xavier House to hang up for Christmas and they each received a hand-made card.
Nashua Soup Kitchen and Shelter
This is one of our regular nonprofit organizations that we continuously support. We have served dinner, worked in the kitchen, unloaded trucks full of food, organized the pantry, filled backpacks with donated school items and helped pass the backpacks out to children in need.
PAL
We spent money that we raised to purchase toys and games for the Nashua Police Athletic League. We have also played with local children who visit PAL.
Brookline Parade Games
This is an annual event for Interact. We have supported the Brookline July 4th Parade by being part of the parade, face painting and setting up and playing games with children after the parade.
Beaver Brook
We have supported Beaver Brook in many ways, including picking up fallen tree limbs, filling the emergency packs that many people use for their hikes, and helping during their Fall Festivals.
Red Ribbon Week
We have helped the PTSAs by hanging red ribbons outside of HBMS and HBHS.
Hollis Old Homes Day
We helped set up and take down tables and chairs and even dressed as the cow during cow patty bingo.
Delivered Graduation Banners
Even during the hard times that the pandemic threw at us, we were still able to deliver graduation signs to the seniors and their families of 2020 to hang up in their front yards.
Organized and Delivered Personalized Graduation Balloons
We sorted out hundreds of individualized messages for our seniors to put on their graduation balloons, which we handed out at graduation.
Caps for Hospitalized Children
We hand-made dozens of child-size hospital caps that we donated to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.
