About me :

I have a teaching experience of 20 years at both Post graduate and Graduate levels. 

I have experience in teaching Nanoscience, Electronics, Solid State Physics, Mathematical Physics, Optics, Thermodynamics, Mechanics, Electricity, Magnetism and Modern Physics. 

I hold a Masters and PhD degree in Physics and also Masters in Psychology  from Kakatiya University, Warangal and a Post-doctoral researcher at University of Surrey, United Kingdom. My research interests are: Radiation Physics, Nanomaterials, Physics in medicine and Biology, Alternative Energy, Bioinformatics. I have visited and presented my research in USA, Malaysia and United Kingdom as part of career development.

I have organized several seminars, STP's and one International conference. 

Also, I am a volunteer for Voice4girls, Ashwin Maharaj Foundation and Planetary Society India, FBBHS, OYSTER. I actively participate in Government education programs like TV shows, science exhibitions etc. Resource person in diversified areas of Physics, nanoscience, Psychology, ICT tools etc. 

I have held administrative positions as IQAC Coordinator, Coordinator for SWAYAM program of UGC, Convener for Women Empowerment Cell at Nizam college. I  also held the post of Head of the Department at Nizam College from July 2016 to July 2018,   Director for Campus Hostels for Women, April 2022 to April 2023 and Director, Centre for Women's Studies at OU. Currently, I hold the responsibility as Additional Controller of Examinations, OU.
