Prof. Bang, Inkyu

Prof. Bang received the B.S degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea, in 2010, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Korea Advanced Institute for Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon, Korea, in 2012 and 2017, respectively. He was a Research Fellow in the department of computer science from National University of Singapore (NUS) from 2017 to 2019. Between March 2019 and July 2019, he was a Senior Research with the Agency for Defense Development (ADD).

He has been an Assistant Professor with the Department of Information & Communication Engineering, Hanbat National University, since August 2019, and co-leading Intelligent Communications and Information Security (ICIS) Laboratory.

His research interests include information-theoretic security (physical-layer security), wireless network security, 5G/IoT, simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT), and machine learning application in wireless communications.


Prof. Kim, Taehoon

Prof. Kim received the B.S degree in media communications engineering from Hanyang University, Seoul, South Korea, in 2011, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Korea Advanced Institute for Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon, South Korea, in 2013 and 2017, respectively. He was a visiting scholar in the department of electronic systems of Aalborg University, Denmark from December 2016 to February 2017. From September 2017 to February 2020, he was a senior researcher with the Agency for Defense Development (ADD), South Korea.

From March 2020, he has been with the department of computer engineering, Hanbat National University, Daejeon, South Korea, as an assistant professor and co-leading Intelligent Communications and Information Security (ICIS) Laboratory.

His research interests include wireless communications, 5G/Internet-of-Things (IoT), radio resource management, physical-layer security, and machine learning applications in wireless communications.
