2026 Faculty vs Student Basketball Game

Pre-Sale Entry Tickets are $10 each OR

buy a Pre-Sale Pack of 4 Entry Tickets for $35.

Entry Tickets will be $15 each at the door.

Buying a Pre-Sale Pack of Tickets online instead of

waiting and buying 4 tickets at the door will save $25!

Concessions, 50/50 Raffle and Chuck a Duck will all be

available for purchase at the game!

If you would like to be able to pre-pay for some of the "extras" at the game,

we have an EXTRAS PACK for $25. When you check in at the ticket table, you'll receive all of your "extras" in an envelope!

STEAM Day 2026

Friday April 10, 2026 is STEAM Day!

STEAM Day is a wonderful HBMS tradition. This full day event brings in presenters who participate in Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Math (either in their careers or hobbies) to speak to students about all of the wonderful opportunities open to them in the future.

HBMS PTO plays a part in STEAM Day by bringing in two large presenters: Playful Engineers Traveling Maker Space ($1,000) and

Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream ($3,000).

We also provide a Presenter's Lounge for all presenters ($700).

If you are able, please use the link below to donate toward these expenses.

This year, fundraising has not been as successful as in years past. If we are unable to raise the funds, we may have to charge students part of the cost of Sub Zero ice cream. We want to make ice cream free for all students, so we must raise at least $3,000.

If you would like to PRESENT at STEAM Day, please email Ms Audette (raudette@nmrsd.org) to sign up as soon as possible!

8th Grade Yard Signs

HBMS PTO has a few 8th Grade Yard Signs remaining that we will make available for sale. This is a limited supply and we will not be ordering more.

Glow Games

On Friday May 5, 2023, HBMS PTO hosted a free event for

all HBMS 5th & 6th Graders in the HBMS Gym.

Pajama Jam

On Friday April 28, 2023, HBMS PTO hosted the final 7th & 8th Grade Dance of the Year! Music was provided by Beau Pro Entertainment.

Earth Day 2023

On Saturday April 22, 2023 the Town of Townsend Recycling Committee will be sponsored an Earth Day Celebration at NMRHS. There were vendors and entertainment and HBMS PTO hosted a food booth!

2023 Faculty vs Student

Basketball Game

On Friday March 24th, HBMS PTO will be hosting our traditional spring fundraiser - the Faculty vs Student Basketball Game!! This favorite annual event brings a team of teachers and staff from HBMS together with a team of HBMS students to play for bragging rights! Tickets are available for presale online ($5) and available at the door for $7. HBMS PTO will be selling concessions and we will have a 50/50 raffle and the crowd-favorite Chuck A Duck!

Red, White & Pink Dance

On Friday February 17, 2023, HBMS PTO hosted a second 7th & 8th Grade Dance at HBMS! It was a fun and well-attended event! Students enjoyed music by DJ Connection, a photo booth by HBMS PTO and concessions. Everyone had a great time!

HBMS v NMS Basketball Concessions & 50/50 Raffle

On Thursday January 26, 2023, HBMS basketball teams will face Nissitissit Middle School in home basketball games! HBMS PTO will be selling concessions and running a 50/50 raffle. Please join us to support our HBMS basketball teams!

Family Roller Skating Social Event

On Sunday January 15, 2023, HBMS PTO rented out the entire rink at Roller Kingdom in Tyngsboro for a family social event! We had great attendance and everyone has a great time!

Winter Restock

HBMS PTO provided each faculty member at HBMS with a Winter Restock Bag to kick off the second half of the year! Each bag contained tissues, disinfecting wipes, sanitizer, Expo markers, pens, and a dozen pencils.

December Staff Breakfast

HBMS PTO hosted a staff breakfast for HBMS on Monday December 19, 2022. This was a great way for the families of HBMS to thank the faculty and staff for a great first half of the school year!

Everything was beautiful and delicious!

Myth Masters

On Wednesday December 14th, the HBMS Cultural Arts Program with the support of the HBMS PTO brought Myth Masters back to HBMS! This fun assembly for the 6th Grade explores Greek Mythology capping off a unit of study in ELA.

7th & 8th Grade Dance

On Friday November 18, 2022 HBMS PTO hosted a 7th & 8th Grade Dance! It was a fun and well-attended event! Students enjoyed music by DJ Connection, a photo booth by HBMS PTO and concessions. Everyone had a great time!

Fun by the Fire 7th Grade Social

On October 28th, HBMS Admin and HBMS PTO co-hosted a 7th Grade social event. There was live music, yard games, fire pits and s'mores. This free event was made possible by donations from A & J's Game Rental and Sophia's Pizza!

Ghoul Grams

HBMS PTO sold Ghoul Grams that were delivered to students and staff on Halloween!

5th & 6th Grade BINGO Social

On September 23rd, the HBMS PTO hosted a 5th & 6th Grade Social Event at HBMS. Everyone played BINGO for candy prizes and had pizza and beverages generously donated by the Ice Cream Factory in Townsend and Hannaford in Lunenburg.

Welcome Back Table

On August 25th, the HBMS PTO welcomed teachers back to school with a table of treats to keep them going as they set up their classrooms and got ready to welcome HBMS students back to school!

Teacher Tailored Supply Boxes arrived and were distributed to homerooms before the first day of school!

PTO sponsored some well-deserved APPRECIATION for our HBMS Faculty and Staff including a catered lunch from Bailey's in Townsend and a week-long "Candy Bar"!
