If you want a rugged, wall-mountable solution for securing two long guns in your rear window or on a garage wall without drilling holes, choose Hazztoll Iron Truck Gun; if you need lightning-fast access to a single rifle while driving and want a low-profile design that preserves rear legroom, choose Eccentfit Seat Back Gun.
• Hazztoll Iron Truck Gun: Strengths include a heavy-duty iron build with rust-resistant coating and versatile 2-way mounting options for both vehicles and walls; the trade-off is its bulkier profile which limits installation to non-sliding rear windows.
• Eccentfit Seat Back Gun: Strengths feature a compact, space-saving ABS plastic design with tool-free slider adjustment for quick headrest installation; the trade-off is that it holds only one firearm and lacks the structural rigidity of metal for heavy off-road abuse.
• Who picks Hazztoll: Hunters and truck owners who prioritize maximum security, corrosion resistance, and the ability to mount gear permanently on a wall when not in use.
• Who picks Eccentfit: Sport shooters and daily drivers who need immediate, silent access to their firearm from the back seat without sacrificing passenger comfort or interior space.
The Hazztoll Iron Truck Gun is built for the serious vehicle owner who treats their transport as a mobile armory. Its core identity revolves around stability and versatility. Constructed from heavy-duty iron with a rust-resistant paint coating, this rack is engineered to withstand harsh environments where lighter materials might fail. The frame stays rigid under heavy loads, making it an ideal choice for those navigating rough terrain where vibration and impact are constant threats to gear safety. Unlike flimsy plastic alternatives, the iron construction ensures that your rifles, shotguns, or bows remain locked down securely, regardless of how bumpy the road gets.
What sets this unit apart is its dual-purpose nature. You can install it via a tool-free wedge into the rear window gasket of most trucks, avoiding permanent damage to your vehicle's interior. However, the design also supports screwing directly onto a metal window frame for a more permanent setup, or even mounting it flat against a wall in a garage or workshop. This flexibility means you aren't stuck with a product that only works in one specific scenario. If you frequently switch between using your vehicle as a transport method and storing gear in a stationary location, the Hazztoll offers a seamless transition between these modes.
However, this power comes with specific constraints that buyers must respect. The rack requires a rear window that does not slide; it is explicitly incompatible with sliding rear windows, which eliminates its utility for many modern SUVs and minivans. Furthermore, the adjustable width spans from 13.0 inches to 23.6 inches, meaning it is designed specifically for the dimensions of truck rear windows rather than compact car interiors. It is a robust solution for those who value durability over portability and who have a vehicle layout that accommodates its size. If you drive a large truck and need to secure two long guns simultaneously with absolute confidence, this is the machine for you.

The Eccentfit Seat Back Gun serves a very different purpose, focusing on speed, accessibility, and interior preservation. Designed primarily for the active hunter or sport shooter who needs their firearm ready the moment they arrive at a trailhead, this rack utilizes a vertical orientation behind the front seat. The key innovation here is the smart slider mechanism, which adjusts from 3.5 inches to 7 inches. This precision adjustment allows the unit to fit a wide range of vehicle headrest posts, from compact cars to heavy-duty trucks, ensuring a custom fit without the need for tools. It transforms any standard vehicle seat into an instant gun holder in minutes.
Durability in this context is defined differently than in the Hazztoll model. Instead of relying on iron, Eccentfit uses high-impact, heavy-duty ABS plastic. While this material is lighter, it is engineered specifically to withstand the rigors of off-road travel. The plastic locks your gear in place, keeping firearms silent and stationary even when navigating bumpy backroads. To protect your investment, the design integrates premium rubber pads that provide a firm, non-slip grip. These pads act as a cushion against vibrations, preventing scratches and finish wear so your rifles remain in pristine, "gallery-ready" condition despite the rough handling of transit.
The most compelling argument for the Eccentfit is its space-saving, low-profile design. In a crowded cabin, every inch of legroom counts. This rack is crafted to maximize interior utility without sacrificing comfort for rear passengers. By keeping the profile compact and tucking the firearm away behind the seat, it keeps the cabin clutter-free and maintains a clear path for movement. It is the perfect solution for those who prioritize a clean interior and the ability to grab their weapon instantly upon stopping. However, users must accept that this system holds only one firearm. If you require carrying multiple long guns at once, this unit will not meet your volume needs, but for the single-firearm user, it offers unmatched convenience and discretion.

• Best for multi-gun storage → Hazztoll Iron Truck Gun, as it securely holds two rifles, shotguns, or bows simultaneously.
• Best for quick deployment → Eccentfit Seat Back Gun, featuring a tool-free slider that allows for instant installation and removal.

• Best for wall mounting capability → Hazztoll Iron Truck Gun, offering a dedicated option to screw it onto a wall for garage storage.
• Best for universal headrest fit → Eccentfit Seat Back Gun, with its 3.5" to 7" adjustable slider accommodating various vehicle types.

In my opinion, I would buy the Hazztoll Iron Truck Gun for my primary hunting truck because the heavy-duty iron construction and the ability to mount two guns securely outweigh the lack of portability. The versatility of switching between a vehicle wedge and a wall mount makes it a superior all-around tool for someone who values long-term durability and capacity. Conversely, if I were driving a smaller vehicle or needed a discreet spot for a single rifle for daily carry, I would lean toward the Eccentfit for its clever use of space and rapid access. Ultimately, for dash cams and other sensitive electronics mounted nearby, the Hazztoll's rigid structure provides a stable platform that minimizes vibration transfer better than the plastic-based alternative.
