Hazen Union School is a public school serving approximately 300 rural Vermont students in grades 7-12. Over 60% of our students qualify for federal Free and Reduced Meal Programs. The Hazen Union School District serves the towns of Hardwick, Greensboro, and Woodbury, VT, an area of approximately 4,600 residents situated on the edge of Vermont's Northeast Kingdom. Additionally, Hazen welcomes several students from towns bordering our district.
Our school and community are determined to offer the best educational opportunities possible to all of our students, regardless of their background or financial resources. Renewing and building language and international experiential opportunities offered through Hazen are ways in which our school seeks to meet its mission to empower students "to achieve their full potential and become successful, responsible, and contributing members of society, locally and globally."
