Sara Stehle is an Artist, a Mother and a Meeting Planner. She grew up in a very small town about 2 hours east of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and now lives in Fairfax, Virginia with her family. Sara has always been an artist and has a passion for the fiber arts. She is able to create 3D objects out of 2D materials - whether it be yarn into an amigurumi figure or upholstery fabric into an up-cycled piece of furniture, Sara is able to create joy for her clients and see their vision through.
Hazel Wilson was Sara's grandmother and taught her how to sew around the age of 8. Sara and Hazel had many things in common; their love of creating, their joy of baking and the pride they each possessed for their work. For this, Hazels Fiber Arts is named after Hazel Wilson and is a tribute to the wonderful and inspirational person that she was.
