Louis Jiminez is a multidisciplinary visual artist and the founder of LJ Custom Canvas, based in Hayward, California. His work blends contemporary portraiture, cultural storytelling, and bold mixed-media techniques, drawing inspiration from everyday life, community history, and personal experience. Through his art, Louis aims to create meaningful connections and spark conversation while celebrating creativity and identity.

Louis joined the Hayward Arts Council (HAC) in 2023 and became a Board Member in 2025. As an active member of the local arts community, he is passionate about advocating for artists, supporting arts education, and helping expand access to creative opportunities throughout Hayward. His involvement with HAC reflects his commitment to uplifting local talent and strengthening the cultural landscape of the city.

In addition to his board service, Louis’s artwork has been exhibited in galleries, museums, and public spaces throughout the Bay Area. He continues to engage with the community through exhibitions, events, and collaborations that promote the arts as a vital part of Hayward’s identity.
