JD Sandoval opened the dojo in 2007 as Hayward Martial Arts in partnership with fellow martial arts instructors of different backgrounds. The name was changed to Hayward Aikido School of Martial Arts a couple of years later. Over the years, we have had many good, strong students join our dojo family.
