Meet the Artist – Cathy Hayo

After spending years inspiring young minds as an elementary school teacher in Maryland, Cathy Hayo is now embracing a new adventure through Hayo’s Hobby—a creative business built around meaningful, personalized keepsakes.

What began as a hobby has grown into a passion for designing one-of-a-kind gifts that celebrate life's special moments. Using acrylic, MDF, printed vinyl, and UV-printed materials, Cathy creates custom ornaments, keychains, bag tags, photo displays, magnets, phone stands, buttons, and other keepsakes that tell a story.

The heart of Hayo’s Hobby is the experience of customization. Customers don't simply purchase a finished product—they help create it. By choosing names, photos, colors, occupations, sports, hobbies, milestones, and symbolic pieces, each keepsake becomes a unique reflection of the person or memory being celebrated.

Whether you're honoring a graduation, retirement, friendship, family tradition, team championship, beloved pet, or everyday moment worth remembering, Cathy loves helping customers turn meaningful memories into keepsakes that will be treasured for years to come.

Because the best gifts don't come from a store—they tell a story.
