Shonan Village Center is a conference facility with accommodations, and it is assumed that participants of the symposium will stay there. All participants are required to register (Japanese/English) by Friday, June 28 Wednesday, July 3. Participants from abroad who receive travel support from the symposium will not be charged get reimbursement later.
Tokyo-Haneda is the most convenient airport for reaching Shonan Village Center, while Tokyo-Narita is another option.
Access to Shonan Village Center
Tips:
Transportation IC cards, like Suica and PASMO, are convenient for using local trains or buses. However, due to the recent shortage of IC chips, currently the issuance of physical Suica/PASMO cards for short-term visitors is limited. According to a brief web search, it looks like some special versions of Suica/PASMO cards are available for travelers at Haneda and Narita airports. You can also use the smartphone app version of those cards. For further information, see https://matcha-jp.com/en/30, for example.
You can search train routes/schedules at https://world.jorudan.co.jp/mln/en/.
No matter how you come, the bus will be the final leg to get to Shonan Village Center (the name of the bus stop is "Shonan Kokusai-mura Center Mae" (湘南国際村センター前)). Note that there are only 1 or 2 buses per hour.
Alternatively, you may use a taxi from the three train stations above. That'll probably cost 3,000–4,000 yen.
Some financial support for local expenses will be available. Please contact Kengo Hirachi.
The abstract booklet is available here. The timetable is finalized as follows. Each talk is 50 minutes long.
