Have you read the first post thread at this site -us/forums/topic/520384. The error looks like a driver fail or fail to install.You can check your haxm_install_log.txt especially around Component: DIFxAPI_64.dll; and intelhaxm.inf

Please do not think I'm computer illiterate. Some times it take me a minute to catch up on things. I did as you instructed but can not get bios to pop up. Use to be on my older version of windows you would see for a short time hit f10 but i do not see this on this notebook. i have paused and waited for that. i have repeatedly tapped f10 as soon as my notebook turns back on. please enlighten me to my errors.

I would like to make an experiment. I would try to install and use haxm to accelerate qemu,instead of kvm. I prefer to use the WSL 1 instead of 2,because I can't keep the hypervisor down,since haxm does not need it. So,I've configured WSL with ubuntu 16.04 and I tried to install haxm.
