Help for African Women Alliance (HAWA) is a community-based nonprofit working to promote the rights, health, and economic empowerment of women across Africa, starting in Ghana. Founded in 2025, we focus on tackling barriers that limit women’s potential, from lack of education to economic inequality, while also addressing the impacts of climate change by promoting sustainable livelihoods and environmental resilience in communities. In addition, we advocate for animal rights and humane practices, recognizing the vital connection between people, animals, and the environment in building a just and sustainable future.
