Any Haverford High School student interested in robotics, programming, electronics, or engineering can join! We welcome members of all experience levels, from complete beginners to those with previous technical knowledge.
Not at all! We believe in making technology accessible to everyone. Many of our members started with little to no experience. What's most important is your enthusiasm to learn and willingness to participate.
We typically meet during clubs period in Room 002, next to the Robotics Lab. Additional workshop sessions or project-specific meetings may be scheduled during busy periods or robot preparation.
While regular attendance at meetings is encouraged, we understand students have other commitments. You can participate as much as your schedule allows, though dedicated project teams may require more consistent participation.
Absolutely! We encourage members to bring their own ideas and interests to the club. Many of our most successful projects started as suggestions from members.
Members develop a wide range of skills including circuit design, soldering, programming (Python, C++, Arduino), CAD modeling, 3D printing, and project management. These are all industry-relevant skills valuable for future careers in engineering.
